Brief Answer:
It sounds like a Pilonidal sinus.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. It is most likely a Pilonidal sinus. This usually happens with people who have excessive body hair and sit for prolonged hours.
There is no need to worry. You should see a Surgeon who can examine you or altrrnatively send us a photograph of the lesion. You will require a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicines for a week and it should settle down. I usually advice my patients Tab Augmentin and Tinidazole along with Tab Combiflam. Keep the area clean by washing with soap and water and then dab it dry immediately
Do let us know if there are other queries regarding this problem.
