2. I haven't had any discharge from that area.
3. I have had hemorrhoids and still do, internally and externally. I have had some blood from that but in the stool.
4. I have had some constipation issues.
5. I do sit a lot during the day.
6. I have hypertension and also am suffering from colon cancer. I have been doing chemotherapy cycles for the past 4 months. I know some of those drugs can cause constipation. As I mentioned, I have had hemorrhoids before and now but the difference is it seems when I clench my sphincter muscle, I feel pain. I also feel it when I sit. Could it be that the hemorrhoid is so close to the sphincter?
7. As you can see, I am on other medications. Chemotherapy drugs, Avalide for hypertension and Dexilant for acid reflux.
Thank you
Most probably an infected rash
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. There is high probability that there is a rash formation which is causing pain. I would suggest you to once get an appointment for a general surgeon to check if it needs any intervention or will settle by itself with medicines and general care. Meanwhile i would suggest you following things:
- Take very good care of your personal hygiene.
- Take high fiber diet, fresh fruits & legumes to reduce the chances of constipation.
- Whenever there is urge to pass stool then go to washroom immediately. Don't try to prolong it. It also adds in constipation.
- Apply lignocae gel over the swelled area. it will give local anesthetic effect and reduce pain.
- Metrozidazole sometimes also be tried but you need to get prescription for this from your local doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
