What Causes Painless Bump On Gums?

Can be a periodontal, periapical abscess or ulcer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXx
Thank you for consulting with HCM.
This is Dr. Dipti Singh here to answer your query.I have seen your images.
As you are mentioning that a painless bump has appeared on your bottom gum, then there can be two possibilities for this gums boil.
-First it can be possible that this gum boil might have appeared because of gum infection only, called as periodontal abscess.
-Second it can be possible a tooth might be infected in respect to that gums and an abscess has formed in the apex of that tooth which is causing infection.
To get it confirmed you have to get an x-ray done of that region, which will show the cause of infection.
If it is a periodontal abscess then the dentist will just clean the gum area and it will heal with some medications.
If it is a periapical abscess of tooth the dentist will treat the tooth with root canal.
A third possibility is also there that it can be just an aphthous ulcer which is caused by stress or stomach problem, in that case there will be just a discontinuity in the mucosa no x-ray finding, to treat it you just have to apply a topical anesthetic ointment on it and it will heal within 7-10 days.
So you should visit a good dentist and get treated accordingly.
Hope it will help you.
Thank you

If Aphthous ulcer then 7-10 days
Detailed Answer:
Hello,XXXXXX
As I have mentioned earlier if it is just an aphthous ulcer, it will take 7- 10 days for healing and you will feel relief when you will apply a topical anesthetic ointment on it.
But if does not heal till then, then you have to visit a good dentist for the treatment. To get it covered in insurance you can just start with medications after consulting the dentist and get the treatment at your home state.
Hope it will help you.
Thank you
Regards
