What Causes Painless Edema In Ankles And Muscle Pain?

I having painless edema in my ankles and muscle pain.
did a routine preliminary blood work and it comes out ok.
IM told me to do a protein test which I will do it.
Just like to know if the dosage on wellbutrim can cause this.
Thanks doctor
Yes, bupropion can rarely cause these side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Wellbutrin can cause edema in lower limbs but it is a very rare side effect. Muscle aches are relatively more common than edema, but still not a common side effect. However, please keep in mind that edema in legs is a very common side effect of Norvasc, the antihypertensive medicine you were taking. And muscle aches are a common side effect of Lipitor. Aprovel can also cause muscle aches and leg edema rarely.
If the dosage of any of the medicines you were on has been changed recently, then it is likely to be the culprit. If bupropion was the last to have been hiked, then I think you should try to cut down the dose and see if it helps with the symptoms.
I hope you are not having fever and dark coloured urine as well. That would be a serious cause of worry.
Best wishes.

As below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
I am relieved that you do not have any fever.
Let me know if any of the tests come abnormal. Also think about which of the medicines may be causing the adverse effects and see if the dose can be lowered.
Best wishes.
