Hi and thank you for asking!
Once again I read your query and understood your concerns.
What you have experiencing it's normal after eating in patient suffering from acid reflux (GERD). In this case you may experience alteration on sinus rhythm and palpitations, which increase your stress and anxiety levels.
Since all your cardiac examinations were ok 4 months ago and your last ecg was normal, you shouldn't worry about your heart. As i said earlier to you avoid checking the pulse on these occasions because because anxiety worsen your symptoms and can cause a panic attack.
I recommend on these occasion to stay calm, breath slowly and deeper and try to relax. These symptoms are self-limiting and never will be harmful to you.
Wish you health!

Hi back,
It's normal to have more palpitations and skipped beats (that are felt as a double beat on pulse check) after a busy and stressful day.
What you felt like a double beat are only ectopic beats and you shouldn't worry they are harmless.
Wish you health!
