What Causes Patches Of Skin Rash On The Spine And Sternum?
Question: Can't tell if my boyfriend has shingles or poison oak I've had shingles I think it's shingles but we were going to go to my daughter's house tonight who is pregnant she is never had chickenpox but have had the vaccine his rash goes from the center of his spine around under his arm to the center of his sternum he claims no itch no pain no pain no ill feelings at all the scabs are still a little moist but more towards scabbing stage if we bring our own bedding would she and her baby still be at risk

Hello and thank you I think I uploaded a picture but I will try again after sending this text it is of the first patch that appeared four days ago taken today there's 4 more patches like it the wraparound under the arm to the chest again no complaints it looks much better today since putting a poison oak scrub and calamine lotion on last night once again concerned whether or not to stay at my pregnant daughter's house this evening thank you

Yes one side, from spine around to sternum
