What Causes Patchy Brown Skin Above The Ankle And Between The Knees?
It is normal with ageing.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
These spots are normal with age. This results from the thinning of the skin that allows blood to easily move out of the vessels into the surrounding. This takes the form or blue, brown, etc colorations/deposits. It is most common around very active joints and areas that are exposed to relatively hard surfaces like buttocks and back areas.
They generally cause no symptoms and represent no disease condition. What most of my clients are concerned about ids the look and am happy you seem not bothered by this.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information if need be. Staying physically strong is the best kept secrete for good health. Keep up!

Detailed Answer:
Amlodipine is known to cause minor swelling of the lower limbs. This probably started after you were put on amlodipine. This makes no difference and requires no special attention at this time unless something else comes up.
Let me know if you have any further worries that we should be addressing at this time.
I wish you well.
