Question: I talked to you before. Im doing better than before in many ways. I dont feel as depressed. I just still dont feel totally confident in myself. I have been on 25 mg of lamictal for 10 days and 10 mg of buspar for 2 weeks. Im waiting to see the psychiatrist to move up in dosage or add one. I should see her this week. My issues right now are with thoughts which make me secondguess my feelings or mood.

I am glad to know that there is improvement in depressive symptoms over the last 10 days which is good sign.

Infact in such a short duration with least possible dose the improvement in symptoms is remarkable and we need to increase dose of buspirone. I am of the opinion that you need to discuss the option of increasing dose of buspirone as it is likely to help more in anxiety symptoms including excessive thinking.

I do not feel there is option of adding another medicine at this stage as over time same medicine will yield desired effect.
