Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM. I would want you to try the following---
a preparation of Omeprzole 20 mg twice a day, Fexofenadine 120 mg once a day and a B-12 1500 micrograms once a day for a week. I hope to have you better. This a treatment for acidity and possible B-12 deficiency. However if you are already on B-12 supplements, you can avoid additional dose. Please continue physiotherapy/ exercises at home for neck and left limb--regards and wishing you the best.

I am not troubled by acidity. I am constantly dizzy. the Physio was to move
crystals in my ear and a manoever was tried. It was unsuccessful as the physio told me that I did not appear to have that particular inner ear problem.
My B12 test and all other blood tests were good.
I am interested to know why you would suggest treatment for acidity.
I hoped you would suggest a diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I suggested acidity because I have had several patients of acidity presenting only with dizziness, without gastric symptoms, who have responded to acid reducing drugs. Itching on skin can also be an external manifestation of increased acid secretion (Histaminic response).
I have had B-12 deficient patients presenting with dizziness, but your B-12 is normal.
Since middle ear problem has been ruled out, the possibility remains of Cervical spondylosis. That will explain the dizziness, and pain in left upper limb. Spondylosis is a condition where there is slight inflammation in the spine but no structural changes as happens in spondylitis. Treatment is gentle massage to back of neck with a pain balm, and exercises (slow neck movements). Oral Ibuprofen may be needed, if there is no response to local balms. The loss of memory does not fit into the diagnosis of cervical spondylosis. It may be an independent symptom. or a temporary one due to your dizziness.
I would still like you to try the Omeprazole and Fexofenadine along with local treatment for the spondylosis. Hope this answers your query. Regards
