What Causes Persistent Fatigue And Fever?

Question: I have had fever for more than 2 weeks. been having paracetamol 650 thrice a day. Feel very tired, but all urine , thyroid. typhoid. dengue tests came negative. My dr refused to put me on antibiotics saying there is no need. Drinking warm water.No energy. What is wrong?

I have gone though your query. A fever of two weeks is indeed a cause for concern. I would like to know specifically about the WBC count (total and differential). I would also like to know the exact pus cell count in urine. Ask your doctor to consider going for relatively uncommon causes like scrub typhus by testing for scrub typhus panel. Your doctor has done the right thing by not aimlessly prescribing antibiotics.

Please mention about the symptoms other than fever. I would await your response. I would guide you further based on that information.
