Question: I have the flu and was prescribed Tamiflu. Been taking it for 2.5 days and still have a fever (though lower than it was) but my bigger concern is pain i developed yesterday on both my right and left side around the pelvic region. Should i be concerned about this pain (and see the doc tomorrow) or not?

Brief Answer:
it is better to see your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Welcome at HCM.
I Appreciate your health concerns...
Do you have diarrhoea? Any burning urination? Any other problem like diabetes or hypertension?
One can expect mild fever with viral infection like flu. But generally there is no pain in abdomen with this.
It is better to see a doctor so that you can be examined well. If i am your attending physician I will get your FBC, X ray KUB with ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. You may need to use antibiotics.
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain.
