What Causes Persistent Flatulence While On Lansoprazole?
Question: hi
i had my gastroscopy done last month and two biopsies samples were taken and i just got the pathology report now which i am attaching so please have a look and let me know if that seems of or i should be concerned, also i do have some fatty liver, my tummy is always blotted with gas i suppose or .....
i am taking lansoprazole 30mg/day, is there anything else you want to add up to

Hi
I saw all attachments.
As per the reports,bits taken from the Stomach didn't show any Cancer or H.pylori infection. So,there is nothing to worry about.
You can continue with Lansaprazole .
Liver function tests are also normal. Fatty liver is diagnosed by Ultrasound abdomen.
You should take frequent small feeds.
You should avoid spicy foods, masala foods, carbonated drinks.
You need to stop smoking and alcohol if you have the habit.
Pain killers like Non steroidal anti inflammatory tablets shouldn't be taken .

i dont smoke but i do drink but not regularly may be just once or twice a week just socializing would that be ok????
