Detailed Answer:
Hello again
Based on your description, there could be a number of causes for your symptoms. However , I would like to rule out or confirm internal hemorrhoids first. They are painless and one cannot feel them. There may be some itching around the anus with some blood that can appear on the stool surface occasionally. Similarly a local fungal or bacterial infection associated with oozing discharge and crusting can also be the cause. Stool for occult blood and stool for ova and parasite may also be done in consult with your doctor. Anal fistula can also be a possibility. I would advise you to consult a proctologist to examine the anus and do a digital rectal exam. If indicated on the physical exam, a rectoscopy can be done for further evaluation. Stool for occult blood and stool for ova and parasite may also be done in consult with your doctor. In the meanwhile use diluted antiseptic like povidone in sitz bath to keep the area clean and dry. You may do that 2 or 3 times a day.
Let me know if you have any query
Thanks.
