Brief Answer:
Most likely due to migraine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely from migraine.
Do you have migraine aura- like flashes of light or black outs or vomiting sensation.?

Migraine has 2 types of treatment. One is pain management while attack of migraine by pain medications. Other one is for prevention. As you getting 4 attacks per month regular preventive medications are needed.

Paracetamol with anti emetic with domperidone is effective for mild to moderate migraines. Ibuprofen (combiflam) can be taken also. Triptan nasal sprays like sumatriptan will be helpful to reverse the symptoms of migraine also.

Preventive medications like low dose beta blocker (propranalol) or anti seizure medications like topiramate will be helpful to prevent migraines also. This should be taken with the advise of your treating physician.

A consultation with a neurologist is well appreciated. Imaging of brain should be done rule out any defects also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing not clear.
Thanks.
