Question: Headache every morning since Tuesday. Mixing up words and slight memory issues. Also pain along spinal column more intense in middle area for about a month now constant. ???

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Considering your of fibromyalgia, it is possible for it to be the cause for the new flares of pain. The fact that there is pain in the middle spine as well as the head makes that more probable as the pain in these two regions wouldn't be relatedto acommon lesion (such as tumor, stroke etc).

However considering the phenomena of mixing up words and memory issues attention to the evolution of the symptoms is needed. If the headaches progress with new symptoms like vomiting, weakness of the limbs on one side, coordination and balance issues, or worsening of the speech and memory problems then a more in depth evaluation is necessary with brain imaging to exclude a brain lesion.
