Brief Answer:
Get investigated

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

Any fever is considered as viral in origin for first 3-5 days.

However, if the fever persists even after 5 days, we investigate to rule out various possibilities like Typhoid, malaria, dengue, urinary tract infection.

So, what i do at my clinic is, that after through examination if i find that there is no evidence of any infection clinically like sore throat, pneumonia, i wait for 5 days and even if the fever persists, i get following investigations done:

1. Complete Blood count
2. Malaria Antigen
3. Widal test and Typhi Dot
4. Urine examination.

So, i would recommend you to give both of your parents Paracetamol 500 mg 8 hourly for next 2 days, and if fever persists, you can get these investigations done co-ordinated by your doctor.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
GET EVALUATED.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, you should get your routine tests done to find out any cause for tiredness like:
1. Hemoglobin
2. Fasting blood sugar
3. Thyroid profile.

If all normal, you may start with Tab Zincovit once daily.

Take Care.
