What Causes Persistent Itching Sensation On Wrists, Ankles And Thighs?
Do you think it could be an allergic reaction? Recommended tests ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Could it be possible that you have come in contact with some allergen that may be causing the itching in the different places mentioned by you?
As you do have a long list of allergens mentioned, it could quite be possible that you came in contact or are coming in contact with some allergen quite often, or may be even a new one which has not yet been established.
I would recommend a blood panel which would help find the cause for your presentation:
1. Raised ESR, CRP, RA factor, etc. will point towards a systemic condition
2. Elevated eosinophils will point towards an allergy
I recommend a blood panel and a consultation with a doctor, but if you cannot consult a doctor then you can write to me with the test results. I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes.
