Brief Answer:
things to try

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
For some reason some people are more prone to muscle cramping than others. Here are some things to try to relieve the problem.
HYDRATION-muscles get irritated when they are not well hydrated. Make sure you drink plenty of water and avoid coffee, tea, sodas and alcohol.
VITAMIN/MINERALS-sometimes the vitamin/mineral content is not correct and that can cause cramping. Try taking a multivitamin/multimineral supplement daily.
STRETCHING/EXERCISE-muscles that do not get used tend to cramp. Try daily exercise like walking for 30 minutes and stretching your muscles 2-3 times a day. Yoga classes are good for stretching if you have access to that. If you are not exercising at all, start walking for 5-10 minutes and build up to 30 minutes daily.
I hope you get some relief soon,
Dr. Robinson
