Posted on Fri, 13 Nov 2015
Question: I am a 35 year old Male. I am feeling pain and burning sensations in my penis from last 2-3 days . It started at the base and moved towards middle of it. Urine flow Is fine but I feel pain when I finishes it. Urine flow is smooth

I had sex 3 times in last 3 days as we are planning a baby  and I didn’t had much discomfort at that time.

As a history , I have tendency of forming kidney stone but as urine flow is smooth , I am not sure this is related to that

Please suggest ..

Brief Answer:
Urinary infection very likely; stone recurrence possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello xxxxxx and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i must suggest you do the following tests.:
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine, creatinine, sugar and uric acid.
3.Ultrasound of abdomen.
These reports will give a good idea, if you're having urinary infection and if there's a recurrence of stone formation, or any other cause for your symptoms.
If you've had sex with more than one partner, you should also do,
4. VDRL,HIV,HbsAg.
Drink 10-12 glasses liquids daily.
You can start a Ciprofloxacin tablet twice daily, with an alkaliser syrup in water.
You can get an expert opinion on the reports here.
Wish you well.
