Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to inflammation or an infection.

The fact that this pain is modulated by respiration, cough, etc indicates an extra cardiac cause, probably musculoskeletal.

Do you feel any bump when touching your breast?

I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination, a resting ECG, a chest X ray study and some blood lab tests :

- complete blood count (for infection)
- PCR and sedimentation rate (for inflammation )
- kidney and liver function tests
- blood electrolytes

An ultrasound of your breast may be necessary to examine better your breast structure for possible inflammatory lesions, if suspicions are raised during physical examination.

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask me for any other questions whenever you need!

Greetings!

Dr. Iliri
