What Causes Persistent Pain In Legs And Arms In An Elderly Woman?

two months i assume that is the cause of the achiness because I haven't used those muscles in over two months and I am 66 now. Please advise if you think that is the reason. I am 66 and feel like an old lady.
new activity is probably the cause
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your question.
Sixty six is not an old lady. At any age when we start up a new activity and use muscles that we have not been using we can get stiff and achy.
It is important when this is going on that you stay well hydrated and avoid alcohol, sodas, tea, coffee and tobacco. All of those can make the muscles more achy. It might also be good to add a multivitamin daily if you are not already taking one.
Drink plenty of water and do some stretches of the sore muscles twice a day. This should clear up in a few weeks as your body gets used to the new activities.
If it does not clear up or if you are getting worse in any way please see a doctor right away.
