Two weeks back I have consulted doctor and then he asked me to get CT scan done .
After verifying the CT scan , He asked me to get operated for Sinusitis ( FESS) and Nasal septum deviation surgery .

Brief Answer:
allergy should be treated first

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

From your symptoms of running nose and excessive sneezing it appears that you have allergy of the nose.
Other conditions like deviated septum may be present but how much the septal deviation is contribiuting to nose block cannot be ascertained until allergy is treated.

In such situations when my patient has allergy and also septal deviation and is complaining of nose block, I first treat allergy and then revaluate the situation .
If my patient continues to have nose block even after the allergy is treated then I consider surgery for septal deviation.

Nasal septum is rarely in the centre. Most people have nasal septal deviation, but only when the septum is very grossly deviated do they have nose block.

Talk to your doctor regarding this.

Regards,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi.
