What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding While On Lutenyl?

Question: I am taking Lutenyl for 21 days to deal with a benign 6cm ovarian cyst. Today is day 19. However I have been bleeding more or less non stop since Dec 22nd and it has been worse in the last two weeks. This week it is very bad and I now have some pains. I am returning to my gynaecologist on Friday the day after tomorrow. She said Lutenyl would stop the bleeding but it has got worse.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Ovarian cyst is unlikely to cause irregular spotting or bleeding.
Lutenyl should be increased in dose if bleeding is not controlled at this dosage.
I will suggest you to ask your OBGYN to rule out any local lesions in cervix or vagina by a proper examination.
