What Causes Persistent Watery Eyes?

Find the cause of allergy first...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical concerns carefully.
1. The very first thing I advise my patients with the same allergy problems as you is to find out what is causing the bad allergy:
- make up?
- detergents?
- humidity?
- foods?
- no specific cause? genetics?
By the way, may I know if you have ever done any allergy testing? Can you refer the results?
2. Sometimes, persistent allergic symptoms might be more related to frequent viral infection rather than allergy itself. In such cases, I highly advise my patients to boost their immune system through:
- eating healthy foods
- taking supplements containing multivitamins and minerals (e.g. vit.C, D, B complex, Zn, Mg, etc.), which are necessary for a normal functioning of body cells
3. I also advise to:
- keep good hygiene of your eyes, especially at bedtime: wash with warm water and hypoallergic soap; rinse with chamomile tea, and then might use eye drops
- get checked from ophtalmologist to rule out eye infection
4. Dymista is a combination of 2 drugs: azelastine (anti-hystaminic) and fluticasone (steroid). I advise not to use on daily basis, but as a complete therapy.
Changing therapy is then, recommended.
Hope it helped!

I thought my original question was going to an ENT.....
Allergy testing to determine the right cause to your allergy....
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Thank you for following up.
1. You are now reporting that the allergy thing started 5 years ago. Was that because you changed:
- your place of living?
- your working place?
- any other disease you might have suffered debilitating your immune system resulting in "allergy"?
2. With regards to your eyes, have you ever run or did your doctor ever advise to run eye swab culture to rule out possible pathological bacterial/fungal infection?
3. If you need to consult with ENT specialist, you can use another option to contact ENT specialist directly.
Thank you!
