Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
There are many possibilities for sounds from chest
1. Upper airway obstruction in nose or throat. This can lead to sounds appearing to come from lungs.
2. Chest infection or allergic bronchitis. Needs a clinical examination and chest xray to confirm.
3. Congenital problem like laryngomalacia. Again confirm by clinical examination.
In short a clinical examination is the starting point for your child's diagnosis.
Medicines may be required only for a few conditions like infections or allergies.
Problems like laryngomalacia will settle down by one year without any treatment.
Wishing your child good health and speedy recovery.
