What Causes Pimples On The Face After Intake Of Duphaston?

Question: Hello Dr. my periods were delayed & pregnancy test was negative..hence dr advised EV tab & Duphaston 5 days course plus ovigyn DSR 75mg 30 days course.( I am also having Folate MPD. ) post that i got my periods. However i got pimples almost half of my body. Is this the side effect of anything.

just to confirm currently i am having ovigyn DSR 75mg & Folate MPD. Not sure which one caused these side effects. If its EV tab & Duphaston then it has been stopped 20 days ago. So still i need to visit doctor?

Yes it is the ovigyn Dsr that is causing the problem since it contains male type hormones.
Please consult your doctor and stop the drug or find a suitable alternative.
