What Causes Pin Sized Bumps On Shaft Of The Penis?

default
Posted on Sat, 21 Jun 2014
Question: Hello, I'm a twenty year old male 6 ft 185 pounds. For a couple years I've had several little pin sized bumps on the shaft of my penis. Both on top and under. They are not on the head. They are very small but are noticeable. They don't itch or hurt and do not seem to get bigger in size. Is this an std?

Brief Answer:
kindly reply and upload pic

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

Such asymptotic bumps on genitalia in males are most likely pearly penile papules.

But before I can put this provisional diagnosis, I will like to know the following details :
1 ) these are persistent bumps or do they disappear in between?
2) history of exposure prior to appearance of these bumps?
3) are these bumps solid or fluid filled?

Kindly reply to my questions and upload a pic of the bumps so that I can help you to my best.
Stay healthy.

Thanks for your reply.

1) They are persistent. They are always there

2) As far as exposure I have never seen them before anywhere if that's what you mean.

3) And they seem to be liquid filled. I have never tried to break one open.

And I don't know how to upload a picture on here or I would sorry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome again.

Dont worry. There is an option of attach reports where you can easily upload the pics. Else you may talk to executives and enquire about this.

Such bumps may be warts , molluscum contagiosum , pearly penile papules etc.

I need to actually visualise them.
Kindly upload pic.
