Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pink discoloration of the semen is usually due to the presence of blood in the semen. This is medically called hematospermia.

In most men, it is not indicative of a serious condition, though these still have to be ruled out.
It may sometimes resolve on its own but it would be best to be seen.

Some causes include: (1)infection of some aspect of the genital tract such as the prostate, in the testes
(2)trauma,
(3)history of a recent procedure,
(4)cancer of the prostate

Workup would generally consist of a general examination including a rectal exam to check the prostate and a blood test for PSA if there is no recent one.
These are done for intermittent blood in the semen.

If it persists for more than 2 months then more tests are needed such as :(1)urine analysis and culture sent to the lab looking for infection because this is a common cause
(2)imaging such as ultrasound

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
