Steroid injection takes one week to be eefective
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. Most probably you are having planter fasciitis. In this condition there is pain in the foot, more in morning. It is common in runners. Your doctor did right thing by using steroid injection. Here are few facts about steroid injections.
1.It takes some time may be a week to show its effect.
2.It may be painful immediately after injection, up to three to four days. After injection you may need to take a pain killer like Brufen or Etoricoxib for seven to eight days.
3. Some time one injection is not sufficient. You may need two or three injection ,after the interval of six weeks.
4.Along with injection you also need to use soft footwear, hot water fomentation and rest.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks

Pain is present on movements
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for replying. It is possible to have pain on tilting. It is due to movement at inflammation site. I would suggest you to continue with hot water fomentation and Brufen tablet. This will decrease inflammation.
thanks
