What Causes Popping On Hip When Bending Knee And Knee Pain?

What do you think about the application of highly concentrated liquid salt from the dead sea. I have read all over the internet about how this is extremely helpful in reducing knee inflammation and muscle stiffness. Should I be doing some light stretching too? If I have an hour at night, how should I go about spending it? Stretch, Ice, apply salt? And in what order? Will taking alleve work or do I need to get another medicine? Your guidance is greatly appreciated.
Could be muscle strain or internal knee injury.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
From description it seems that you had sustained muscle strain or meniscal injury due to twisting injury during golf playing. Lots of twinges and tingly spots could be due to synovitis or inflammation at knee. The pain is due to associated muscle spasm . So it is important to relieve it. I would suggest you the following which will definitely help
Hot saline( liquid salt) fomentation before stretching exercises.
Stretching exercises to reduce associated spasm.
Icing over the area after stretching to reduce the inflammation.
Take mild pain killers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
Stronger prescription NSAIDS with muscle relaxants may help if simple analgesics do not help. You can consult your orthopedician for prescriptions.
Local application of Diclofenac Sodium gel will be helpful.
Adequate rest and avoiding sudden movement.
If the pain persist, you might benefit by consulting your orthopedician who can examine you , and order a MRI to know the exact cause and provide the proper treatment for it.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

Thank you!
