Brief Answer:
it need a detailed evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum.

Bleeding after an interval of two years at this age is to be taken as postmenopausal bleeding, and need detailed evaluation to rule out some important uterine or cervical pathologies.
Any abnormal bleeding after 35 years of age is to be evaluated with investigations like a fractional curettage, pap smear, USG etc.
If important uterine and cervical pathologies demanding surgical intervention is ruled out, this can be from simple causes like an estrogenized anovulation. Depending on the amount and nature of bleeding, this may be left alone or treated with hormonal agents.
I advice you to see a gynecologist early for correct diagnosis and management.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have further questions, I will be happy to help.
Wishing healthy days ahead, thank you.

Brief Answer:
That depends on the exact diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
That is fine..!, and I hope the histo-pathology report was on the safer side.

D & C can not stop periods its own.In menstruating women,periods returns after a period of 4-6 weeks following D & C.
So whether you will bleed further or not, depends on the present diagnosis you got,and any treatments you may be given. You can discuss this freely with your doctor.
Hope you got it cleared. If you have no further questions, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wishing healthy days ahead.Thank you.
