What Causes Pressure And Pain Around Nose?

Question: I have a pressure behind my nose and a slight pressure on the left hand side of my face. I have had a viral infection that has now subsided. I have had my eyes tested several times and I need a stronger glasses but I can't wear them as they hurt my eyes. what do you think it could be?

I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
Based upon the history, the pressure sensation behind nose could be due to sinusitis. If I am your attending physician I will investigate you for sinusitis first. I will get your FBC and X Ray PNS to rule out sinusitis. In the meanwhile as you plan to get sinusitis checked, you should stay calm and use steam inhalation at bed time . Anti allergic drug like cetrizine and nasal sprays would be very beneficial in this regard.

Vision is something that you can't compromise. If you are using correct number of lenses which were prescribed by ophthalmologist, then you should use it. It happens in start but with time you would adopt to it.
