![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My husband has been having pressure behind one eye and lost vision in the eye last week.
He went to the doctor who said not to worry, and go see an eye doctor.
This morning he could barely walk and had lost vision again.
He is refusing to go to the emergency room, because the symptoms no longer exist.
He is 58 with partially blocked carotid and diabetes

Brief Answer:
needs to go to emergency
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for this note.
You need to do all that you can go get him to emergency. This could be a stroke or serious problem with his eye. It could even be a brain tumor.
The problem with walking makes it sound more like it is coming from his brain than just from his eye.
Please try to convince him to go to Emergency and get a CT or MRI of his brain.
The partially blocked carotid is a set up for a stroke so he really needs to be seen as soon as possible
I wish you the best,

He's having mood swings, and in complete denial. Bouts of anger.
He is refusing to go to the doctor or emergency.
Said that because it was temporary, it was nothing serious.

very concerning
Detailed Answer:
This is very concerning for something going on in his brain. Mood swings can be a part of that. I sincerely hope that you are able to convince him to go to Emergency just to get checked out to make sure that it is nothing serious.
