What Causes Pressure Feeling In Uterus Area?

Need proper investigation. Do ultrasound scan.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:
1) Pressure feeling symptoms around uterine or pelvic region for couple of months MOSTLY indicate uterine fibroid or enlarged uterus, adenomyosis etc.
Some other reasons may be over weight, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis (bladder infection), constipation. They may aggravate on heavy work or long standing/ walking.
2) I suggest you to undergo one abdominal ULTRASOUND scan and routine urine examination with Culture test to rule out underlying pathology and confirm the diagnosis. You should consult with GYNECOLOGIST for the next level treatment following clinical examination and above mentioned tests.
3) In the mean time, I suggest you to take painkiller like combined Ibuprofen and Paracetamol (COMBIFLAM etc) with Antacid (Ranitidine) to reduce pelvic pain. Take complete prescription from local doctor.
Drink more water, use hot water bag locally, take healthy diet with more green vegetables, adequate rest and maintain genital hygiene properly.
Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.
Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Dr S Patra

Do ultrasound scan at first. Several medical & surgical T/t options.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
First of all, you should undergo one ultrasound scan to rule out the underlying pathology (fibroid or ovarian cyst etc) and confirm the diagnosis. It will be more worthwhile.
Medical or surgical treatment can be done according to your test report and condition. Hormonal therapy with progesterone pill, LNG-Intrauterine System, Depot-shot, Non-steroid Anti-Inflammatory drugs etc are available to control pelvic pain and heavy bleeding associated with above conditions. Iron supplements should be added in case of heavy bleeding or anemia.
GnRH analogue can be used to reduce fibroid size for short period. In case of large fibroid or ovarian cyst, surgical treatment is preferred.
Myomectomy (to preserve fertility) or Hysterectomy (NOT desire for child) can be done if required. It is last treatment option.
SUGGESTION: Do ultrasound scan and revert back to me for specific treatment option. You should consult with your local Gynecologist also for clinical examination.
Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion.
All the best and good luck.
Regards,
Dr S Patra
