What Causes Pressure In Vagina And Pelvis, And Slight Bleeding After Urinating?
Question: Hi...For the past 3 months I have been wiping blood or staining after urinating and at times pressure on my vagina or pelvis. Even when I have my menstrual I bleed so much that I have to change my pad every 10min or less...then it is gone after 4 days, then after 2 days I start to stain or bleed. What is this?

Laboratory assessment of hemoglobin, luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), prolactin, T4, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), pregnancy (by βhCG), and androgen profile can be done.
The management of this condition would require treatment with progesterone to stabilize the endometrium and reduce bleeding along with hemostatic agents like ethamsylate or tranexaemic acid . Oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) suppress endometrial development, reestablish predictable bleeding patterns, decrease menstrual flow, and lower the risk of iron deficiency anemia.
You might consult your gynecologist who can do the needed tests and initiate the proper therapy.
