Detailed Answer:
Welcome at HCM
I am Dr Saad Sultan and will be answering your query. I have read and understood your health concerns.
I need few more details to arrive at a diagnosis.

For how long you are suffering from it? Have you suffered from it before? Do you have diabetes or hypertension ? Are you taking any medicines?
Is there any pain or discomfort in your chest? Are you sweating and any breathing difficulty?
These all queries need to be answered before a reasoned conclusion can be established.

Chest symptoms in this age group need to be investigated properly.
It may be simple allergy, neuropathy or heart problem.
If you are having diabetes or hypertension or previous cardiac problem then you should visit ER so that you can be assessed properly.
Sometimes serial EKG coupled with Trop.T and I need to be done in order to be sure.

Avoid any vigorous activity and meet your doctor.
You may use cetrizine to relieve your symptoms.
Feel free to ask.

I've had the pinprick sensation once before, about a few weeks ago. It lasted each time for a short time. I'ven't had any breathing difficulty or sweating problem. I'm only taking my usual medicines to reduce blood pressure (It is now and usually in the 130-142/ 60-75 range) and also omepradex against reflux as well as 75mg microprene.
Thank you for your advice.

I appreciate your follow-up..
Your BP looks good with medications....
Since you are hypertensive so, In my opinion you should visit ER at least once so that any acute insult can be ruled out.
Stay calm and continue with your medications.
Hope it helps
