What Causes Pricky And Itchy Sensation On Body?

Every time after I take a shower I feel a picky and itchy sensation on various spots all over my body. The picky feeling is not due to any rash or insect bites but this has been going on for well over 6 months and it lasts for several hours after a shower. I am well hydrated as I drink well over 10-12 glasses of liquids (non-alcoholic) per day.
