Question: Hi Doc,

I recently return from long trip, since my return (last 10 days) i am having problem with sleep. Apart from this i also have red eyes.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having sleep related problems and red eyes.
Red eyes is a common occurrence in lack of sleep because of congestion of blood vessels of eye. This is called as hyperemia of conjunctiva. This will resolve with correction of sleep problem.
You can use decongestant eye drops for symptomatic relief.
Do send me the name of eye drops prescribed by your doctor.

Zenoxa is oxycarbazepine and is used as an antiepiletic and mood stabilizing drug.
Please mention the indication for the use of this drug if possible so that I can answer your question more accurately.

Hi Doctor,

I was pescribed "OFLOX eye/ear drops" few days before. Although it reduced red eye to a very little, problem was not solved.

Today morning i consulted another doctor, she pescribed below two eye drops and eye oinment. I was told that i had very dry eyes. For sleep issue she did not give any suggestion. Asked to consult another doctor

Mo-floren ointment
Moxicip drops
Lacrimos drops

And for sleep i was suggested below two medicines

Zolfresh 10mg
Sompraz 40mg

Could ypu please see and suggest me i was guven correct medications?

Moxicip is antibiotic and lacrimos is a artificial tear and both these are right medications and can be used for your eye condition.
The tablets prescribed for sleep problem in the form of zolfresh is correct and can be used.

The eye condition will resolve by 4-6 days.
