What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Cycle After Taking Restrogen?
Question: Hi
I'm 28 yrs old female, not married but hav a boyfriend... Will be having sex atleast three four months once. I usually have. Delayed periods, this month I got my periods on 14 may 15 n did not stop yet, still bleeding hence gynecologist advised me to take restrogen 5 mg tablet for 3 days 3 times n 2 days 2 times n 2 weeks one time to stop bleeding.... If still bleeding had to go for D&C test itseems. Very much scared....is there any problem with my uterus... Scanning done, everything normal.
Please help me out... Should I take the prescribed tablets or should go for second opinion?

In my opinion it is due to hormonal imbalance so she gave progesterone to regulate your menses.
If you would not get relief than you can take combined oral contraceptive pills to regulate your cycles.
You can go for D&C to regulate your menses and to rule out the cause also.

It's regestron 5 mg sandoz, today I started takin the tablet but my bleeding with heavy clots is increased.... I'm very much scared, is there any problem with my uterus or cancerous symptoms?
