What Causes Psoriatic Arthritis?
Question: I have had psoriasis in my hair for two years. I have had expensive prescriptions such as spray, liquid and now a cream but nothing has helped. Lately, I have been having trouble with arthritis in my hands, legs, etc. I think I need a doctor specialist for psoriasis arthritis. Would this be the right direction. I have been going to dermatologist whom Ai love, but need something more.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Psoriasis can involve joints.
This is called as psoriatic arthritis.
Dermatologists treat even this condition.
Let your dermatologist know about your condition.
I usually prescribe tablet methotrexate in such cases and have seen excellent response with that.
You can consult your dermatologist regarding this.
It takes care of skin lesions as well as arthritis.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
