What Causes Pulsating Sensation In Kidneys?
Question: I have this pulsating in my kidneys... usually not both at the same time but they both experience it at different times. I have a history of kidney stones. I'm 30 now and have been dealing with them on my own since 21. I often feel nauseated, tired, and do not wish to eat because I feel sick after. I was okay with dealing with all of this but recently have been having spams/ cramps in my legs that are very painful and twitching in random muscles throughout my body. The twitching doesn't hurt but I'm begining to wonder if this is something more than just kidney stones??

Recurrent kidney stones can lead to kidney damage. some times the stone obstruct the urine passage and cause pain or abnormal sensation.
symptoms of cramps, nausea, illhealth can me non specific, but on the other hand they can be part of electrolyte imbalances and kidney dysfunction.
To diffenciate and find the exact cause we need to run some tests-
Kidney function test.- urea , creatinine, sodium potassium, calcium , phosphorus and uric acid.
Urine routine and microscopy test.
Meanwhile, you try taking adequate water 2 to 3 litre per day,

I'm fully aware that it could be an electrolyte imbalance or damage to the kidneys. My question was, are these symptoms concerning? I do not have time to go to the doctor and get a urine test or any other test for that matter... that's why I'm asking online. With the information you have, what is the most likely cause and how can I fix it on my own?
Brief Answer:
Tests are necessary for diagnosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
' My question was, are these symptoms concerning? '
These symptoms may or may not be related to Kidney Disease. And even if there is a 30% chance that these symptoms can be because of kidney disease then you should be concerned about them.
' With the information you have, what is the most likely cause and how can I fix it on my own?'
On the information provided DIAGNOSIS CANNOT BE MADE. without diagnosis no treatment can be suggested.
Best wishes.
