What Causes Pulsing Sensation Radiating From Thigh To Foot While Bending?
Question: When I bend my back forward, I feel a dull pulse of electric current run down the middle of my thigh and into my foot. It doesn't seem to be associated with my neck because if I sit erect and tilt my head forward with my neck only, I don't feel the sensation. Furthermore, I feel nothing running down my spine or neck.
Also, I believe I am experiencing perceived weakness in my arms, yet I can do push ups, extend my arms outward with palms facing up without much exertion, and do other activities without any problem. I have twitches in my hands, legs, and arms when they are at rest, but the twitches stop when I'm active and moving. Am I experincing MS/ALS symptoms? I'm very worried to the point of being nauseous and ill.

Brief Answer:
More likely pinched nerve/ anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
the overall description of your symptoms makes a pinged nerve/pinged nerves in lumbal and cervical area mixed with anxiety more likely than als or ms.
To make sure there is the option to get examined by a neurologist, who will very likely come to the same conclusion.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards

Thank you for replying, Dr. Seckendorff. In addition to the sensation in my lower leg, the muscle twitches, and the weak feeling in my lower arms, I'm now experiencing pain on the right side of my head. It comes and goes and only lasts a few seconds at most. It's like a slight pulse/throb and doesn't feel at all like a headache. Does this change your assessment? Does this sound serious?
Brief Answer:
Can be different issue but not typical for als/ ms also
Detailed Answer:
dear patient,
can be something like atypical face pain or trigeminus neuralgia. Your neurologist can perscribe medication for that, also accupuncture may help. This pain is not a typical sign for als/ ms also and might be stress related.
