What Causes Pus In Urine?
Question: Hi. I am having an issue with what appears to be small pieces of white tissue in my urine - urine is pale yellow. I have no flank pain, however I do have a history of renal calculi, with no complications. Also, may be some how related, I have itchy , prickly skin primarily on my face. I have been trying to stay hydrated.
Brief Answer:
Might be due to urinary tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your query.
When you see white tissue-like floats in urine, they could be due to some discharge like pus and it could indicate presence of urinary tract infection.
I suggest you need to take a test like urinalysis, urine culture.
Presently I would suggest you drink plenty of water and drink cranberry juice which is found to be helpful in urinary tract infection.
In case, the investigation are suggestive of infection I would have treated you with tablet norflox 400 mg taken twice daily for three days.
Hope this helps.
Take care
