Question: I am getting nerve pain in my chest ,shoulder , back that radiates behind my ears. Very painful and random, lasting from a 2 to 15 minutes. It is very painful & numbing over the last week

the pain started about a week ago, out of the blue. never had any trauma to the chest or back area, no recent viral infections either.

In this case, spondylosis of the cervical spine, any instability ( spondylolysthesis ) should be considered as possible conditions.

Get cervical spine x-rays done initially.

Discuss with your primary care Doctor about these issues.
