What Causes Radiating Pain From Breast To Groin Area While Laughing Or Coughing?
Ultrasound abdomen , EKG
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
You are right , the population at risk for AAA are men who especially older than 65 years and those with peripheral atherosclerotic vascular disease. AAAs are usually asymptomatic unless there is expansion or rupture which can cause sudden, severe, and constant abdominal and lower back pain. Syncope or blackout can also occur. AAAs can be detected clinically and are palpable upon physical examination with presence of a pulsatile abdominal mass. In your case , An EKG and ultrasound can be advised primarily based on clinical findings to look for any serious cause. A chest x ray can be done to rule out any pleura or lung involvement on the left side. If these investigations are clear then the likely cause is GERD/ dyspepsia and it should be adequately treated with PPIs, sucralfate and metoclopramide to see for improvement.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
