What Causes Radiating Pain In Left Leg, Calf, Heel And Dyspnea?

default
Posted on Thu, 12 May 2016
Question: I have had a severe class 3 pylon fracture on my left ankle and a fused grand left toe. I have gone through 7 surgeries an now my left leg has intense pain up to my me calf and the heel on my right leg is dibilitating. The pain is most severe in the evening when I am lying done. I had my A1C check and I am okay. But the pain level and in particular nerve pain is unimaginable, I am seeing a new Ortho doc as mine retired. Until then the pain drains me - makes it difficult to sleep and most times I am struggling to breathe when I get up the stairs. I am also getting heart test to rule out the heart and then travel to respiratory to determine cause of severe shortness of breath. I am scared now as I haven't been in this much pain in my life. I work as a pharmacy licensing execute which requires a lot of thinking. But right now I am drained. Any advice or direction to point me in?

Brief Answer:
You can take Gabapin NT

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. Severity and nature of your pain is suggesting that it is not due to bone problem only but there is involvement of nerve compression. That causes sharp and unbearable pain. In such cases there is role of neural pain killers like pregabalin M or Gabapin NT. These tablets have very good effect in such pain.
Before I advised you any further I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1. Since when you are having this pain?
2.Are you able to walk or not?
3.Please send me your fresh X rays and image of the leg.
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.
thanks
