Brief Answer:
Following diagnosis to discuss with your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The bad pain you are feeling on your limbs might be due to following causes :
- osteoarthritis of the limb joints, apart xray, blood tests are advised including complete blood count, antistreptokydin tests, fibrinogen and ers level, crp.
- problems with blood vessels in your limbs, doppler ultrasound of blood vessels in limbs is advised to rule it out

I advise to discuss these further with your doctor. For the moment, I advise to :
- take otc pain killers
- regular exercise, avoid over exercised
- apply warm clothing locally
- take multivitamins containing vit b, c, d, calcium,

Hope it was of help!

thank you for writing me back with that. I'll follow up and ask my PC. I'm 28 years old. would those things be possible for someone my age? would you recommend seeing a neurologist?

Brief Answer:
Neurological examination to run if other problems are excluded...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

If none of the above-mentioned problems would be identified after proper evaluation, I'd recommend seeing a neurologist to exclude neurological problems. For the moment, I advise to rule out the above-mentioned problems first.

Osteoarthritis could be a common problem at your age; while other problems are less common.

Pain in joints is common in young people at your age who are not having regular exercise or are doing high intensity physical activity once in a while (and not regularly).

All the best! Let me know how it goes!

hi, sorry to bother you again, but would you recommend regular exercise? and if this is pinched nerve would you recommend exercise?

Brief Answer:
No bother at all;stretching and gentle exercise recommended...

Detailed Answer:
Hi Welcome back my dear,

You are not at all bothering; on the contrary, I am happy to assist you.

With regards to your query, I can say that first, we must determine if the nerve is really pinched. After this diagnosis is finally concluded, stretching and gentle exercises are recommended to relieve the pressure from the pinched nerve.

Alternating cold and warm compresses are also recommended while resting.

Massaging by using essential oils (e.g. olive/lavender oil) can also be used.

All the best!
