What Causes Raised Bump On Tip Of Penis?

Question: Hi just wondering what this is. It looks like a raised bump on the tip of my penis right beside the opening and it is soft just like the skin around it. It probably has been here about a year but never really thought much of it until now.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a raised bump at the tip of urethra since one year.

This is likely to be a hyper granulation tissue at the tip of urethra secondary to a ulcer or wound at the tip of urethra which has healed up with formation of a granuloma.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and to confirm the diagnosis.He may advise you to undergo small surgery of electric or chemical cauterisation of the granuloma.

This is simple procedure done under local anaesthesia as a out patient procedure.
