Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help.
From my experience, some of the most common causes for such rapid growth in size of kidney stones are the following:
-Dehydration: Poor fluid intake
-Hereditary cause: If there is a family history of kidney stones. In such individuals, the urine lacks the substances that prevent the collection of calcium, phosphorus, etc; that fuse to form the stones. So this results in easy formation and growth of stone size
-Diet: High-sodium diet. Sugar and protein rich diets also contribute to rapid increase in size of the stones
-Obesity
-Conditions which can result in excessive fluid loss from the body in the form of chronic diarrhea, vomiting, urination, etc.
In my opinion, any of these causes could be the reason for such a rapid increase in size of your stones sir. Please speak to your doctor, who will analyze your case and let you know exactly which one of the above listed causes could have caused your rapid increase in stone size.
I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you sir. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes.
