What Causes Rapidly Enlarging Mass Behind The Left Ear?
Question: I have developed a series of odd neurologic symptoms. Paradoxical cold sensation in my scalp, painful scalp, left skull pain and some itchy skin on my left scalp and forehead. Dull pain in the left eye, Shooting pain (throbbing ) in th left skull that causes come dizziness and nausea. I was not not tested but was put on Acyclovir for possible Shingles. Now I have a rapidly enlarging mass behind the left ear. I presume a lymph node. Is this an emergent that I need to go to the ER on a holiday weekend?
